If you want to look glam and natural at the same time i would suggest you to have a smudged eye make up. Earthy tones would help to have a natural look, but sure if you know how to apply it right. That way you are not going to look like you put so much effort to look pretty, you are a natural beauty already : ) Let’s talk about how to have that natural looking but glam, smudged eye make up now..
After applying your eyelid primer, do your wash on all over your eyelids with an off white matte eye shadow, then get a creamy black eye pencil. My favorite liner for the smudged look is Kohl Pencil (Crayon Khol) by Make up For Ever. Create a thin line and extend it on the outer corners a little bit. This is the best way to give a 3 diminutional look. Apply it on the lower and upper water line. This will create more depth and will make your eyelashes look longer. Then use your pencil brush to smudge your liner. The pencil brush is easy to use and for smaller areas, use smaller brushes. Apply it right on your lash line. Then extend it and blend it better on the outer corners. You don’t have to line your lower lash line, using the same brush would be enough to have a drop down shadow. I would suggest you to use a shimmery eye shadow, because when you apply a matte shadow on a creamy product it’s going to be really hard to blend them. The colors just sits there with no blending almost. That’s why i would use a shimmery earthy eye shadow palette. One of my favorite palette is Brown Eye Candy by Physicians Formula. It’s compact, great colors, not pricey, plus has 9 colors on the palette. Then with a shimmery chocolate eye shadow right on the smudged line create a smudged and smokey look, extend it on the outer corners. Use a fluffy brush for blending. Get a lighter shimmery brown tone and apply it on the top of the darker tone and blend them together. Blending is very important for this kind of smudged and smokey eye make up look. No straight lines, everything must look soft and colors must be balanced with each other. To bring more light use a shimmery mustardy eye shadow on the inner corners . On the lower lash line, outer corners should be darker. On the outer corner use your chocolate shadow, in the middle should be lighter brown and right on the inner corner we already used a mustardy shimmery eye shadow. With a perfect porcelain skin and a natural (could be a little peachy color in it) lip gloss or lip stick, you are going to look Glam with almost no effort ! ;)
